Chupe de Pollo

Michael Roessler

"Chupe de Pollo," is a traditional Chilean chicken stew, has roots in both indigenous and Spanish influences, which is common among Chilean cuisine. Its origins trace back to the Andes, where the concept of a hearty stew was adapted to fit local ingredients. Chupe dishes are typically made with a creamy base using bread soaked in milk or broth, combined with cheese and seasoned with simple spices. In the case of Chupe de Pollo, shredded chicken is used as the main protein, adding a comforting and nourishing element.

We're proud to offer the traditional Chilean recipe for "Chupe de Pollo" in our Supercook community, crafted by locals to bring an authentic taste of Chile to our global members.
